About Us

We are Cam and Heather, and we are avid boaters!

 

We both grew up with power boats and sailboats in our lives but our real beginning as a boating family began in the late 1990's.

We got our first boat, a 29 ft Bayliner, through a client of Cam's business. We enjoyed it for a season before selling it, but we had caught "the bug". The next boat, a 19ft Century, came almost as an accident, when Cam bought a building for his business ... it's a long story. It seemed that we were destined for boating, so here we are now, several boats later, with our 2003 Canoe Cove 42.

We have spent many years exploring the waters of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay, and our favourite cruising area is in the North Channel. However, our sense of adventure and our love of all things boating encouraged us to cut the dock lines, and set a course for ADVENTURE!

 

It's hard to believe that we have completed our Great Loop, but we are not finished boating. We are looking forward to taking more time to explore the beautiful waterways in Canada this summer.
